Due Date to File Income Tax Return Extended

Due date of filing of income tax return has been extended by CBDT to 31st August 2019. It applies to those who are required to file their income tax return by 31st July 2019. The date has been extended in view of the changes carried out in Income Tax Return format and the late issue of Form 16 by the employer.

Extension of the due date will help the people to file their ITR without paying the late filing fee.
